Dr. Kenneth B. Schwarz, D.D.S.

Dr. Kenneth B. Schwarz, D.D.S., is a Newport Beach, CA native  and opened his practice there over 20 years ago. He established his practice to provide personal and compassionate dental health care to patients of all ages.

He received his BA with honors from the University of California at  Riverside and his D.D.S. from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Dentistry in 1972. His teaching residencies include  oral surgery, prosthodontics and maxillo-facial prosthetics. He is a member of the Orange County Dental Association,  California Dental Association and American Dental Association.

Dedicated to serving the youth in the community, Dr. Schwarz has participated on the board of several local service organizations including the YMCA; Orange County Council, Boy Scouts of America and Newport Beach Parks, Beach & Recreation Commission.  He was also the former president of the Newport Medical Association board, which oversees the medical and dental practices in his building. Also, Dr. Schwarz is an usher at St. Andrews church and is currently on their board of directors.

Dr. Schwarz enjoys hiking, playing tennis, running, scuba diving, fishing and traveling. An avid hiker, Dr. Schwarz has climbed the entire Pacific Crest Trail, 2663 miles from Mexico to Canada, and is currently re-hiking it in sections. He regularly participates in marathons and triathlon races. Other hobbies include photography, stamp collecting, growing orchids, arts and reading.

Dr. Schwarz is married to his high school sweetheart, Kathy, and  they have two children, Kristin Pelinka, MD, and Kenny Schwarz, JD,  and one grandchild, Durham Pelinka (age 1).

Dr. Gregory Peterson, D.D.S.

Dr. Gregory Peterson, D.D.S. has been at Pacific Crest Dental for the past year. As a dentist at  Pacific Crest Dental,  Dr.   Peterson is committed to providing exceptional dental care for his  patients in a professional and ethical manner.

Dr.Peterson received his BA in economics from the  University of California at Los Angeles and his  D.D.S. from the University of Colorado Health Sciences School of Dental Medicine. He is a member of the Orange County Dental Association,  California Dental Association and American Dental  Association.

When Dr. Peterson is not working, he participates in sports including volleyball, basketball and swimming. He is also an active church member at Rock Harbor  Church.

Dr. Peterson is married to Julie and has a daughter, Tayler (Age 3).
