The process of restoring teeth for esthetic reasons. Procedures include bridges, crowns, whitening, veneers, implants, braces or gum reshaping with the goal of improving your smile.

Diagnostic / Preventive

Diagnostic procedures are used to help prevent dental related problems by examining the entire mouth via x-rays, photos, and visual examinations and initiating preventive measures such as the use of fluoride and sealants to protect the teeth from decay and to help maintain the overall oral health.

Procedures that are used to repair and save teeth that are badly decayed or infected. During these procedures the nerve and pulp of the tooth are removed and the tooth root is then cleaned and sealed.

Fixed prosthodontics

These are permanently attached restorations that are completed by removing the decay from the teeth which requires taking away tooth structure and then restoring them with a porcelain, ceramic, or gold crown, bridge, inlay, onlay, or veneers.

Cerec Same Day Crowns & Bridges

CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. The crowns and bridges are created in office during the same appointment as the removal of decay and preparation. After the doctor has completed the preparation a digital scan using a small camera is then taken in the place where the crown or bridge will be placed. After the design of the crown is complete and sent to mill. The milling unit then creates the precision milled crown or bridge that fits your tooth. Following the milling the crown is then cured in a ceramic or zirconia oven, polished tried in and then cemented into your mouth. This is usually a 3-hour appointment and in most cases, you leave with your restoration cemented in place.

Here, we provide support for the structures (also known as periodontium) to the surrounding and supporting teeth.

a. Debridement-preliminary removal of plaque and calculus that interferes with the ability of the dentist to perform a comprehensive oral evaluation. This cannot be done on the same day as the exam

b. Scaling and root planning- a therapeutic procedure that us used in removal of cementum and dentin that is rough, and or permeated by calculus or contaminated with toxins or microorganisms.

c. Periodontal maintenance-is completed every 3-4 months following the scaling and root planning procedure this cleaning allows for removal and plaque and calculus from above and below the gumline.

The process of lightening the color of a tooth, which can be done through physical removal of a stain, or a chemical reaction.

a. Bleaching trays- an oral impression is taken and custom bleaching trays are created. The bleaching is done at home when the patient places the bleaching gel into the trays and wears them for the manufactures suggested length of time.

b. In-chair bleaching- the process of whitening the teeth in which the doctor places a high percentage of peroxide-based gel on the teeth for faster results. Patients are also given trays for whitening maintenance at home in order to maintain the desired tooth shade.

These procedures are done when there is evidence of decay or need of repair due to excessive wear of the teeth. These procedures usually consist of removing the decay and repairing the teeth with a resin composite material that matches your existing teeth.

Laser Therapy Treatment

Laser therapy is used in many different dental treatments. They are typically used in our office for minimizing gingival tissue to improve restorability of a tooth, and for treating periodontal gum disease.

Removable Prosthodontics

A removable appliance option for replacing the teeth and soft tissues. These are not usually a permanent solution for replacing teeth and may be used intermediately for procedures that may need time for healing to take place prior to a permanent restoration being placed.

i-Tero Digital Dentistry

A digital impression of the mouth allows for precision laser cut, orthodontic clear aligners to be used as therapy that aligns the teeth into proper occlusion and alignment.

Extractions are the removal of a tooth or teeth and are suggested when a tooth is not restorable, badly decayed or broken. Socket preservation or bone grafting is often recommended.

Dental Implants

This is a restorative option for missing or extracted teeth. Once the implant is placed there is a healing time before we are able to place the abutment and crown on the implant.
