Dr. James Bonar, DMD
For Dr. James Bonar, dentistry is about more than teeth its about restoring confidence, comfort, and quality of life. His philosophy is simple: provide the kind of dentistry hed insist on for his own familynothing less than exceptional. Trained under world-renowned experts in advanced dental implants, bone grafting, and smile reconstruction, he brings years of experience and cutting-edge digital technology together with premium dental materials to deliver predictable, life-changing results. He understands that many patients come with fear, anxiety, or past dental trauma, and has created a judgment-free, patient-focused environment to support them. An active member of the AAID and IDIA, he exceeds continuing education requirements to ensure patients receive the very best care.

Beyond Dentistry
Dr. James enjoys traveling with his wife, Molly, exploring new cultures and cuisines, spending time outdoors, and training in his home garage gym. An avid athlete, he has completed numerous triathlons and marathons, as well as the Hood to Coast relay and Seattle to Portland (STP) bike ride multiple times. As a native of Salem and third-generation dentist, he is proud to continue his familys tradition of caring for this community.
Dr. Thomas Bonar, DMD
Dr. Tom is a third-generation dentist and Salem native and has always had a passion for serving his community, whether it be volunteering at the Salem free clinic, through his church, or helping his fellow Oregonians get healthy smiles. Dr. Tom ensures he is providing the highest quality of care by pursuing the latest continuing education and dental research. Dr. Tom has also written and published several dental research papers. He continually exceeds the continuing education requirements and has completed hundreds of hours in advanced education courses in dental implants, full arch implant dentistry, advanced bone grafting, 3D digital dentistry, Invisalign and more! Dr. Tom has a passion for reconstructing peoples smiles and restoring their self-confidence. He is a member of several study clubs both local and abroad that keep him up to date with cutting edge technology and research. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, Marion Polk Dental Society, International Dental Implant Association, and American Association of Implant Dentistry.

Beyond Dentistry
Dr. Tom, his wife, Esther and their chocolate lab, Piper, live for their next outdoor adventure. Dr. Tom is an avid outdoorsman and when he is not in the office he enjoys hunting, fishing, skiing, or watching a Beavers football game
